Very nice Kris. Buying food that is grown locally is a biggie. The more we can buy local, the better our local food system and our food security, the less CO2, and the less dependance on oil.

Interesting interactive web-site.
If you are interested I have written a web-site (static site) devoted to the notion that Las Vegas will be the first U.S. city to fail because of peak oil. Apparently I wasn’t the only one to pick up on it. Alan Weisman (The World Without Us) picked it off and published an online story detailing the same thing on Vanity Fair.
I’m not a survivalist but I believe that we are at the end of civilization/empire what ever people call it.
I’d be interested in doing a post on yur blog.
Let me know.

You’re doing a great thing. I’m sending your site to friends. I’ve been worrying about this issue for a long time (10yrs?), and I think that one of the major issues behind it is that people are scared to face it. Its the ostrich effect. Stick your head in the sand and it won’t hurt you… right?
Sooooo…. what better way to face a scary subject than with humour… and music?
The more people look into this - the better. Any medium is a good medium, and your’s is great - fresh, funny and sexy.
There is still time to get this message out and make change.
love ur stuff.

HEY! Great idea! Is energy starvation fun?
It could be, let’s see what happens, next.
I can ride a bike around here, but I won’t until the government legalizes rocket propelled grenades, first. The motorists here are all possessed by demons.
I saw this on an episode of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’.
Personally, I’m not optimistic. old habits die hard. I suppose the best strategy is to stay right here close to the chairman of Exxon/Mobil.
The company headquarters is right down the street .. Honest!
I’ll be able to just go over and siphon some gas from his car when I need to …
